About the artist
Born in Karlovac, Croatia, Ana Vidović began guitar at five and at thirteen became the youngest student admitted to Zagreb's National Musical Academy, studying with Prof. Istvan Romer before graduating from the Peabody Conservatory. First-prize winner of the Albert Augustine International Competition (Bath), the Fernando Sor Competition (Rome), and the Francisco Tárrega Competition (Spain), she has performed at Vienna's Musikverein, Amsterdam's Concertgebouw, and London's King's Place. Her international career spans Europe, Asia, and the Americas, praised for her beautiful tone, precise technique, and thoughtful artistry.
